Frequently Asked Questions

All of my sessions have an extra 20 minutes built in to allow for check in before and after, which helps us keep the stated amount of time for hands-on work. Therefore a 60’ massage will be an 80’ appointment, a 75’ massage will be a 95’ appointment, and a 90’ massage will be a 110’’ appointment.

Everyone at Whole Therapies utilizes a 4 tiered sliding scale. You can read more about it under our rates tab here. You will self select your tier during your intake paperwork. My range for a 60’ massage is $95-185. My range for a 75’ massage is $120-230. My range for a 90’ massage is $140-275.

I am not in network with any insurance providers. I am happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. If you would like to go this route, please ask your doctor to provide a referral for massage that includes a diagnosis code, and let me know before our first session. I am happy to chat more if you have questions.
-
If you would like to have a free 20 minute phone consultation to answer any questions or talk about the work, please submit a request through our collective contact page. If you would like to skip that step and move forward with a massage, you can book directly at the link on my page.

Since I operate on a sliding scale system, I do not expect tips. If you are able to tip me, please slide up on the scale!

I am vaccinated and boosted against covid. My masking policy is optional, if you would like me to wear a mask for our session I am always happy to. If you have had any recent or suspected exposures to illness but are not showing symptoms, I ask that you mask and let me know so we can both take precautions.

I disinfect all surfaces before and after every appointment. I use clean sheets, blankets, and towels for every client. I wash my hands immediately before and after the hands on portion of our massage and use hand sanitizer during the session when appropriate.

You are invited to undress to your comfort level. I use professional draping standards in compliance with Washington State laws. I often work through the sheet and am always happy to work over clothes, although thick, rough things like jeans, belts, sweaters, etc., can be more difficult.

My table has a max weight of 750 lbs

I have various playlists I use that I find relaxing, interesting, and helpful for the work. If you would like a taste of what it sounds like, I use a lot of music from Dianna Lopez, Omni Gardens, and Halftribe. If there is specific music you would like, I am happy to play whatever. I do not generally like podcasts or books on tape, because I find it distracts from our ability to listen to the body. I am always happy to work in silence if that is what you prefer.

Fascial work is often done without lotion or oils, however, it occasionally makes sense to incorporate and at that point I usually reach for scent free organic sweet almond oil. My space is generally scent free, but If you have any allergies to ingredients or scent, please indicate it on your intake form.
