Seeking connection is a radical act of self-compassion. Often our wounds originate in relationship, therefore growth and healing can only happen within relationship. Therapy offers a safe space to tend to the pain that is holding you back from fully engaging with life. Leading to greater personal insight, resilience, and skills to move forward with confidence and purpose.

My client focus:

With training in psychology and nutrition I am uniquely qualified to support individuals seeking assistance with body image/self-esteem issues, eating disorders, dietary concerns, and digestive health. Additionally, I provide strengths-based, comprehensive talk therapy to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress/burnout, trauma, and relational concerns. I work with both 18+ individuals and relationships.

My therapeutic approach:

I have a warm, practical, and genuine style. My primary goal as a counselor is to form a collaborative and supportive relationship with my clients. To facilitate growth and understanding I use modalities such as person-centered, trauma-informed, and intersectional feminist therapy. I also draw from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, Health at Every Size (HAES), and Somatic Experiencing (SE) to provide tangible tools for wellness. Together we will discover the roots of your concerns and what you need to access your innate wisdom. Allowing you to reconnect with your strengths and flourish.

My background:

I graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2015) and received a Master of Science in Nutrition and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University (2022). Cumulatively I have six years of experience providing nutrition, mental health, and substance use counseling. Additionally, I have training in anti-oppression, multicultural, and social justice approaches, which I use to uplift and honor client autonomy while identifying how systems of oppression are impacting wellbeing. I am a good fit for clients who want to dismantle the harmful pedagogy of the status quo while developing and implementing self-empowering narratives.
